Safety is paramount when dealing with ropes courses and ARCB believes that conductors and supervisors are the vital link in maintaining the safe operation of ropes course programs. The Adventure Activity Standards for Challenge Ropes Courses “2.1 COMPETENCIES OF SUPERVISORS AND CONDUCTORS” states that people working on ropes courses should be trained at least to the equivalent units of competency of the National Outdoor Recreation Industry Training Package.
ARCB can personalise a training to suit your Ropes Course elements while maintaining the curriculum, this ensures you are learning what is required. Our extensive experience working on ropes courses in different countries over a number of years give us a broad knowledge of challenge courses and how they work.
As industry standards are continually evolving, we recommend refresher courses be conducted each year to keep your staff up to date with current standards. The annual inspection of your ropes course is a great time to get everyone together and build on your skill set. We can personalise a course to compliment your program and ropes course.
